Panama files $1.5 billion debt shelf

New York, June 22 - The Republic of Panama filed a shelf for up to $1.5 billion in an S-B registration with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The shelf includes debt securities with or without warrants.

Proceeds from the sale will be used for general financing purposes, which may include the repayment of debt and other budgetary purposes.
