Moody's upgrades Panama

Moody's Investors Service said it upgraded the Government of Panama's bond rating to Baa2 from Baa3.

The outlook was revised to stable from positive.

Moody's said the upgrade reflects: (a) Panama's ongoing economic dynamism and positive medium-term growth prospects; and (b) continuing improvements in its debt metrics.
