Los Angeles, Sept. 22 – The Republic of Panama plans to issue new dollar-denominated global bonds due 2032 and additional 3.87% global bonds due 2060, according to a 424B3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The 2060 bonds will be a further issuance of, and will be consolidated to form a single series with, the outstanding $750 million of 3.87% bonds due 2060 issued on July 23, 2019.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC are the joint bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used for general budgetary purposes and liability management transactions.
