Panacea Biotec to team with Netherlands vaccine institute

Tampa, Fla., May 3 - Panacea Biotec Ltd. has announced its collaboration with The Nederlands Vaccin Instituut.

Under the collaboration, Nederlands Vaccin Instituut will supply bulk inactivated polio vaccines to be used by the company in the manufacture of finished inactivated polio vaccines and a number of inactivated polio vaccine-based combination vaccines.

Panacea said it would register the products both in India and internationally, except for the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway and Finland.

The Nederlands Vaccin Instituut is a government-based vaccine institute located in Bilthoven, the Netherlands.

Panacea Biotec, located in New Delhi, India, is involved in the research, manufacturing and marketing of pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals, new chemical entities, natural products and vaccines.
