India's Panacea Biotec to sell equity, convertibles

New York, Sept. 9 - Panacea Biotec Ltd. said its board of directors has approved raising funds in the international or domestic securities markets.

The company may now offer stock, convertible debentures, convertible bonds, eurobonds or other securities to raise up to Rs. 5 billion.

Panacea Biotec is a New Delhi, India, maker of vaccines and pharmaceuticals.
