New Issue: Arrowhead Research corrects amount for $1.86 million placement of units

Knoxville, Tenn., July 21 - Arrowhead Research Corp. revised the amount it said it raised in a private placement of units that settled on Friday. The company took in $1.86 million, according to an 8-K filed Tuesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The deal priced for up to $2.13 million on July 10, and the company said on Friday that it raised $2.28 million.
The company sold 6,197,500 units of one common share and one warrant at $0.30 per unit. Each warrant will be exercisable at $0.50 until June 30, 2014.
Located in Pasadena, Calif., Arrowhead develops nanotechnology used in life sciences, electronics and energy.
