Pakistan could sell up to $1 billion of Islamic or conventional bonds

New York, Aug. 24 – Pakistan is looking to issue between $500 million and $1 billion of Islamic or conventional bonds, a market source said on Thursday.

A second source confirmed that an Islamic, or sukuk, bond was being rumored in the market.

Other details of the offering were not immediately available.
