Pakistan to issue $500 million of bonds by end of June

Atlanta, March 7 – Pakistan is expected to raise $500 million in bonds by the end of June, a market source said.

The sovereign expects to sell a similar amount in fiscal 2017 and an additional $2 billion of notes in fiscal 2018.

The proceeds will be used to repay debt.

Other details were not immediately available on Monday.
