Packaging Corp. of America files automatic shelf for debt securities

Knoxville, Tenn., June 21 - Packaging Corp. of America filed a debt securities automatic shelf registration in an S-3 ASR filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The debt may be structured as convertibles.

Proceeds will be used for repayment of debt, working capital and general corporate purposes.

Packaging Corp. is a producer of containerboard and corrugated products based in Lake Forest, Ill.
