Packaging Corp. plans early redemption of 2023 notes using new notes

Chicago, Sept. 7 – Packaging Corp. of America announced that it plans to redeem its 4.5% senior notes due 2023 early, using cash on hand and the proceeds from a sale of new notes, according to a 424B3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Packaging Corp. of America is based in Lake Forest, Ill., and makes containerboard and corrugated packaging products.
