Pacific Gas & Electric files senior notes automatic shelf registration

Knoxville, Tenn., Feb. 22 - Pacific Gas & Electric Co. filed a senior notes automatic shelf registration in an S-3ASR filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Use of proceeds will be specified in the notes' prospectus supplement.

The gas and electricity provider is based in San Francisco.
