By Devika Patel

Knoxville, Tenn., July 29 – Owens Corning expects to offer fixed-rate green senior notes, according to a 424B5 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will feature a make-whole call initially and then are callable at par.

BofA Securities Inc., Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and Wells Fargo Securities LLC are the bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used for eligible green projects. Pending such uses, the company also intends to use proceeds to redeem a portion of its 4.2% senior notes due 2022 and/or a portion of its 7% senior notes due 2036.

Owens Corning is a Toledo, Ohio-based maker of composite building materials.
