SPCP Group buys $4.81 million claim against Owens Corning unit

Pittsburgh, Jan. 5 - SPCP Group, LLC bought Nichols Aluminum's $4.81 million claim against Owens Corning subsidiary Exterior Systems, Inc., according to a Thursday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Owens Corning, a Toledo, Ohio, building materials company, filed for bankruptcy Oct. 5, 2000. Its Chapter 11 case number is 00-3837.
