Owens Corning talks $300 million 10-year senior notes at Treasuries plus 225 bps area

Virginia Beach, Nov. 4 – Owens Corning set price talk for a planned $300 million offering of 10-year senior notes (Ba1/BBB-/BBB-) in the area of Treasuries plus 225 basis points, according to market sources and a 424B5 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Goldman Sachs & Co., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Wells Fargo Securities LLC are the bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used to fund a tender offer and for general corporate purposes, including the repayment of debt.

The glass fiber technology company and maker of composite and building materials is based in Toledo, Ohio.
