Owens Corning posts $13.95 million loss on sales of $338.23 million for June

Washington, Oct. 19 - Owens Corning posted a $13.95 million loss in June on sales of $338.23 million, according to a monthly operating report filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware Tuesday.

Since filing for bankruptcy the Toledo, Ohio-based building materials company has reported losses of $1.88 billion on sales of $12.41 billion.

Operating income for June was $20.63 million, while the cumulative operating loss since filing for bankruptcy was $1.35 billion.

On June 30, cash and cash equivalents totaled $591.23 million.

Owens Corning filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 5, 2000. Its Chapter 11 case number is 00-03837.
