Owens Corning registers automatic shelf for debt securities

New York, June 3 - Owens Corning registered an automatic shelf under which it may issue debt securities and guarantees, according to an S-3ASR with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company said that securities may be structured as convertibles.

Proceeds are earmarked for general corporate purposes.

Owens Corning is a Toledo, Ohio-based building materials company.
