Owens Corning obtains order extending exclusivity period to July 1, 2004

Chicago, Dec. 12 - Owens Corning has obtained court approval to extend the exclusive period in which it has to file a reorganization plan to July 1, 2004.

The order was filed in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Owens Corning is a Toledo-based building materials manufacturer.
