By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, April 4 - Overseas Shipholding Group, Inc. implemented a reduction in force to improve operational efficiencies in connection with its restructuring efforts, according to a news release.

As part of the reduction in force, executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer Myles R. Itkin has left the company.

The company said Ian T. Blackley will serve as the CFO and treasurer, effective immediately. He had been the senior vice president and head of international shipping operations.

Overseas Shipholding, a New York-based tanker company, filed for bankruptcy on Nov. 14 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. Its Chapter 11 case number is 12-20000.
