Overseas Shipholding Group's unsecured creditors committee appointed

Pittsburgh, Nov. 29 - Overseas Shipholding Group Inc.'s official committee of unsecured creditors has been appointed by Region 3 U.S. Trustee Roberta A. DeAngelis, according to a Thursday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The members of the committee are Sanjiv Nayar of administrative agent DNB Bank ASA, New York Branch; Alex Chang of indenture trustee The Bank of New York Mellon of New York; Michael Short of John Hancock Life Insurance Co. (USA) of Boston; Darren Huff of Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp., based in Washington, D.C.; and Andrew McAleer of MCA Associates, Inc. of Greenwich, Conn.

Overseas Shipholding, a New York-based tanker company, filed for bankruptcy on Nov. 14. The Chapter 11 case number is 12-20000.
