Fitch rates Oversea-Chinese Banking notes A+

Fitch Ratings said it assigned a final A+ long-term rating to Oversea-Chinese Banking Corp. Ltd.'s subordinated notes due 2022 callable in 2017.

This follows the completion of the issuance and the final rating is the same as the expected rating assigned.

The bank has been expanding within Asia over the past few years with Singapore and Malaysia continuing to account for the bulk of its total assets, the agency said.
