Moody’s ups Nova Kreditna banka Maribor

Moody’s Investors Service said it raised Nova Kreditna banka Maribor dd’s junior senior unsecured debt rating to Baa3 from Ba1 ratings on review for upgrade.

The upgrade is driven by the closing of OTP Bank NyRt's acquisition of Nova Kreditna banka Maribor, after the Slovenian competition authority's approved the deal on Feb. 1, Moody’s said.

This action concludes the ratings review started on Nov. 5, 2021, the agency said.
