S&P rates Otkritie

Standard & Poor's said it assigned its CCC long-term and C short-term counterparty credit ratings to Otkritie.

At the same time, S&P said it assigned its B(ru) Russia national-scale rating to the company.

The outlook is stable.

The agency said that the ratings on Otkritie reflect its high exposure to the volatile and thinly traded Russian capital markets, poor revenue diversification and barely adequate capitalization.

These negative factors are mitigated by the company's strong profitability and growth potential on broadening Russian financial markets, S&P added.
