Acambis on hold by Jefferies

Jefferies & Co., Inc. analyst Robin Campbell rated Acambis plc at a hold after the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services said it is no longer considering the company's proposal for the RFP3 MVA smallpox vaccine. Shares of the Cambridge, England-based pharmaceutical company were down 59.75p, or 38.67%, at 94.75p. (London: ACM)
