Fitch affirms Ostrow Wielkopolski

Fitch Ratings said it affirmed the Polish municipality of Ostrow Wielkopolski's national long-term rating at A-(pol) with stable outlook.

The rating reflects Ostrow's sound operating performance, growing revenue and moderate debt ratios, Fitch said.

However, the rating also takes into account its relatively weak local economy and low local tax rates, which limit its capacity to fund long-term development, the agency said.

The stable outlook reflects Fitch's expectations that Ostrow will maintain its good operating performance, which should support its debt servicing ratios in the event of debt increase.
