New Issue: Orkla sells NOK 1.5 billion of green bonds in two parts due 2028, 2031

Knoxville, Tenn., May 27 – Orkla ASA issued NOK 1.5 billion of senior green bonds in two tranches, according to a press release.

The notes include NOK 1 billion of seven-year notes, which have a coupon equal to Nibor plus 62 basis points, and NOK 500 million of 2.4425% 10-year notes.

DNB Markets, Handelsbanken Capital Markets and SEB were joint lead managers.

Proceeds will be used to finance and refinance green projects.

Based in Oslo, Orkla operates in the branded consumer goods, aluminum solutions, materials, renewable energy and financial investment sectors.
