New Issue: ORIX prices $500 million 4.05% five-year senior notes at 150 bps over Treasuries

Tupelo, Miss., Jan. 8 – ORIX Corp. sold $500 million of 4.05% five-year senior notes (A3/A-/A-) on Tuesday at a spread of 150 basis points over Treasuries, according to a market source.

The notes priced tighter than initial talk in the Treasuries plus 165 bps area.

Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and SMBC Nikko Securities America, Inc. were the bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

The financial services company is based in Tokyo.
