New Issue: Oriflame places $195 million, €25 million notes in three tranches

By Angela McDaniels

Tacoma, Wash., July 14 - Oriflame Cosmetics SA issued $195 million and €25 million of notes in a private placement, according to a company news release.

The notes mature in 2018, 2021 and 2023.

HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. was the bookrunner and lead placement agent, and Nordea and SEB were co-agents.

The proceeds from the dollar-denominated notes were swapped into euros. As a result of the placement, the company's €100 million one-year revolving facility will be canceled.

The company said the transaction was more than two times oversubscribed.

In April 2010, the company placed $165 million of notes maturing in 2015, 2017 and 2020.
