Oregon Board of Higher Education defeases $59.3 million of 2004D bonds

Minneapolis, Feb. 13 - The Oregon State Board of Higher Education defeased $59,295,000 of its series 2004D general obligation refunding bonds, according to a notice.
The following 5% bonds will be redeemed at par on Aug. 1, 2014:
• $6,145,000 of bonds due Aug. 1, 2015;
• $4,785,000 of bonds due Aug. 1, 2016;
• $4.08 million of bonds due Aug. 1, 2017;
• $5.92 million of bonds due Aug. 1, 2018;
• $6.53 million of bonds due Aug. 1, 2019;
• $7.65 million of bonds due Aug. 1, 2020;
• $6.17 million of bonds due Aug. 1, 2021;
• $3,675,000 of bonds due Aug. 1, 2022;
• $3,895,000 of bonds due Aug. 1, 2023;
• $3,455,000 of bonds due Aug. 1, 2024; and
• $6.99 million of bonds due Aug. 1, 2027.
The Bank of New York Mellon is the paying agent. Wells Fargo Bank, NA is the escrow agent.
