New Issue: Oregon prices $266.82 million of G.O. bonds

New York, March 22 - The State of Oregon sold $266.82 million of series 2012 general obligation bonds in six tranches, according to a pricing sheet.

The bonds (Aa1/AA+/AA+) were sold through senior managers Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and Bank of America Merrill Lynch. The co-managers were Fidelity Capital Markets LLC, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, Seattle-Northwest Securities Corp. and Siebert Brandford Shank & Co. LLC.

The deal included $44.76 million of series 2012H various purpose G.O. bonds, $54,445,000 of series 2012I Oregon Department of Transportation bonds, $12.54 million of series 2012J taxable Oregon DOT bonds, $18.33 million of series 2012K tax-exempt refunding bonds, $129.31 million of series 2012L tax-exempt refunding bonds and $7,435,000 of series 2012M taxable refunding bonds.

The 2012H bonds are due 2013 to 2032 with a term bond due in 2036. The serial coupons range from 3% to 5%. The 2036 bonds have a 5% coupon priced at 111.829.

The 2012I bonds are due 2014 to 2032 with a term bond due in 2037. The serial coupons range from 3% to 5%. The 2037 bonds have a 5% coupon priced at 111.292.

The 2012J bonds are due 2013 to 2014 with 0.38% to 0.57% coupon priced at par.

The 2012K bonds are due 2013 to 2023 with 2% to 5% coupons.

The 2012L bonds are due 2012 to 2022 with 1% to 5% coupons.

The 2012M bonds are due 2012 to 2014 with 0.28% to 0.65% coupons, all priced at par.

Proceeds from the deal will be used to prepay the state's series 2002B, 2002C, 2002E, 2003A, 2004B, 2005A-B and 2006A certificates of participation.
