State of Oregon defeases $62.42 million of series 2003 G.O. bonds

Kansas City, Kan., Nov. 9 - The State of Oregon said it has defeased and will redeem on Dec. 1, 2013 $62.42 million of its Department of Administrative Services general obligation Oregon opportunity bonds, series 2003.

The following bonds are affected:

• $5.835 million of 4% bonds due 2015;

• $6.075 million of 4% bonds due 2016;

• $6.32 million of 4% bonds due 2017;

• $6.585 million of 5% bonds due 2018;

• $6.865 million of 5% bonds due 2019;

• $7.175 million of 4% bonds due 2020;

• $7.505 million of 5% bonds due 2021;

• $7.85 million of 5% bonds due 2022; and

• $8.21 million of 4.5% bonds due 2023.
