Orchard Supply posts $18.7 million net loss for Aug. 4-Aug. 19 period

Wilmington, Del., Oct. 15 - OSH 1 Liquidating Corp., formerly Orchard Supply Hardware Stores Corp., reported an $18.7 million operating loss for the period from Aug. 4 through Aug. 29 on revenue of $38.92 million, according to the company's monthly operating report filed Oct. 11 with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Those figures compare to a $2.85 million operating loss for the period of June 17 to July 6 on $46.89 million in revenue.

The company also reported a $20.13 million net loss for the period, compared to a $6.24 million net loss for the previous period.

OSH reported cash and cash equivalents of $8.53 million as of Aug. 19, up from $5.11 million in cash and cash equivalents as of Aug. 3.

Orchard Supply, a San Jose, Calif.-based hardware retailer, filed for bankruptcy on June 17 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. Its Chapter 11 case number is 13-11565.
