Orchard Brands' unsecured creditors committee reduced by three members

Savannah, Ga., March 10 - Orchard Brands' U.S. Trustee Roberta A. DeAngelis amended the company's official committee of unsecured creditors to remove three previously appointed members, according to a Thursday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The members included on the amended committee are Dan Pevonka of RR Donnelley & Sons Co. of Downers Grove, Ill.; Michael Ritter of Gould Paper Corp. of New York; Joseph M. Borrow of News America Marketing of Wilton, Conn.; and Hal Manoian of Valassis of Windsor, Conn.

The previously appointed members who were removed are Carl Jenkins of Protex International of Hatfield, Pa.; Max M. Mizrachi of Eastman Footwear Group, Inc. of New York; and Mitchel Nichnowitz of Seasons Apparel Inc. of Torrance, Calif.

Golden Gate Capital's Appleseed's Intermediate Holdings LLC does business as Orchard Brands. Appleseed's is a Beverly, Mass.-based clothing retailer that filed for bankruptcy on Jan. 19. The Chapter 11 case number is 11-10160.
