Orange County School, Fla., defeases series 2005A, 2005B COPs

Norfolk, Va., May 11 – The Orange County School Board, Fla., defeased its series 2005A and 2005B certificates of participation, according to two notices.

The following 2005A COPs will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest on Aug. 1:

• $60,000 of 3.75% bonds due Aug. 1, 2015;

• $2,735,000 of 5% bonds due Aug. 1, 2015;

• $2.94 million of 5% bonds due Aug. 1, 2016;

• $1.68 million of 4% bonds due Aug. 1, 2018;

• $19,165,000 of 5% bonds due Aug. 1, 2018;

• $100,000 of 4.1% bonds due Aug. 1, 2019;

• $21.77 million of 5% bonds due Aug. 1, 2019;

• $25,000 of 4.15% bonds due Aug. 1, 2020;

• $22.94 million of 5% bonds due Aug. 1, 2020;

• $24.11 million of 5% bonds due Aug. 1, 2021;

• $5,000 of 4.2% bonds due Aug. 1, 2022; and

• $13,215,000 of 5% bonds due Aug. 1, 2022.

The following 2005B COPs will also be redeemed at par plus accrued interest on Aug. 1:

• $345,000 of 3.8% bonds due Aug. 1, 2015;

• $630,000 of 3.875% bonds due Aug. 1, 2016;

• $555,000 of 4% bonds due Aug. 1, 2017;

• $4,815,000 of 5% bonds due Aug. 1, 2020;

• $5,065,000 of 5% bonds due Aug. 1, 2021;

• $5.32 million of 5% bonds due Aug. 1, 2022;

• $375,000 of 4.25% bonds due Aug. 1, 2023;

• $5.21 million of 5% bonds due Aug. 1, 2023;

• $5.86 million of 5% bonds due Aug. 1, 2024;

• $1.22 million of 4.25% bonds due Aug. 1, 2025; and

• $29.44 million of 5% bonds due Aug. 1, 2025.
