Orange County Sanitation District, Calif., to price $77.92 million refunding COPs

Springdale, Ark., May 19 - The Orange County Sanitation District in Fountain Valley, Calif., intends to price $77.915 million refunding certificates of participation (COPs) in a competitive sale on Thursday, according to an official notice.

The series 2008A certificates have maturities from Aug. 1, 2008 through Aug. 1, 2013.

Public Resources Advisory Group is the district's financial adviser.

Proceeds will be used to refund the outstanding $77.34 million of the district's series 1992 refunding certificates and pay a settlement amount for an interest rate swap agreement on the certificates.
