Fitch affirms ConEd

Fitch Ratings said it affirmed the issuer default ratings and debt ratings of Consolidated Edison Inc. (ConEd) and its subsidiaries, Consolidated Edison Co. of New York, Inc., Orange & Rockland Utilities, Inc. and Rockland Electric Co.

Fitch also said it affirmed the ratings for debt instruments issued by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority.

The outlook is stable.

The ratings reflect the stable and predictable cash flows generated by its low-risk regulated transmission and distribution utility subsidiaries, Fitch said.
