Opus South's request for another exclusivity period extension OK'd

Chicago, Jan. 4 - Opus South Corp.'s request for an extension to its exclusive periods to file a Chapter 11 plan and to solicit votes was granted, according to a Monday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The company's exclusive plan-filing period was extended to March 18 from Dec. 18, and the solicitation period to May 17 from Feb. 16.

Previously the exclusive plan-filing period was extended by 120 days, to Dec. 18, and the solicitation period by the same amount of time to Feb. 16.

Opus, an Atlanta-based design-build development firm, filed for bankruptcy on April 22. Its Chapter 11 case number is 09-11390.
