OppenheimerFunds to halt sales of class B shares after June 29

By Toni Weeks

San Diego, March 30 - OppenheimerFunds, Inc. announced in a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission that class B shares will no longer be offered for new purchases after June 29.

Any investments for class B accounts received after that date will be made instead into class A shares of Oppenheimer Money Market Fund, Inc. If investors make automatic purchases of class B shares, they need to designate a different share class.

After June 29, class B shares will continue to mature and convert to class A shares according to their established conversion schedule.

OppenheimerFunds is based in Denver.
