By Tali David

Minneapolis, Feb. 27 - The Oppenheimer Gold & Special Minerals Fund announced that its manager agreed to waive the management fee it receives from the fund in an amount equal to the management fee it receives from the subsidiary, according to a 497 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The fund's transfer agent has voluntarily agreed to limit its fees for classes B, C, N and Y to 0.35% of average annual net assets per class per fiscal year and to 0.3% of average annual net assets per fiscal year for class A.

The management fee has been raised by 2% for each class of the shares.

The total fund operating expenses now range from 1.01% for class Y shares to 1.97% for class B shares.

The fee waiver and expense reimbursement ranges from 0.01% for class B and C shares to 0.04% for class Y shares.

The total annual fund operating expenses after fee waiver and expense reimbursement range from 0.97% for class Y shares to 1.96% for class B shares.

The fund's adviser is New York City-based OppenheimerFunds, Inc.
