Oppenheimer Equity Income Fund tweaks investment strategy

San Diego, March 7 - The Oppenheimer Equity Income Fund, Inc. made a change to its principal investment strategy, according to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The fund will now invest at least 80% of its net assets, plus borrowings for investment purposes, in equity securities. Previously the fund stated it would invest 80% of its assets in equity securities.
New York-based OppenheimerFunds, Inc. serves as the fund's investment adviser.
