San Diego, April 10 - The Oppenheimer Diversified Commodity Strategies Fund announced its plans to launch with four share classes, according to an N-1A filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The fund's class A, class C, class Y and class I shares will trade on the New York Stock Exchange. Ticker symbols have not yet been set.

The new mutual fund will seek total return by investing in commodity-linked derivatives, U.S. government securities and other fixed-income securities.

Kevin Baum, Robert Baker and Carol Wolf will be the portfolio managers.

A 5.75% maximum sales charge will be imposed on class A purchases, and a 1% maximum deferred sales charge will be applied to class C shares. Management fees and total annual fund operating expenses have not yet been disclosed.

OppenheimerFunds, Inc. will serve as the fund's investment adviser, with affiliate Oppenheimer Real Asset Management, Inc. serving as subadviser. Both are based in New York.
