Oppenheimer chooses Paul Stendig to head high-grade corporate bonds

Knoxville, Tenn., July 27 - Oppenheimer & Co. said Paul Stendig has joined the firm as managing director and head of high-grade corporate bond trading. He will report to senior managing director of taxable fixed-income sales and trading Robert S. Lowenthal.
Stendig previously worked three years at RBS Securities as a managing director, trading corporate bonds and credit default swaps on banks, brokers and finance companies. Before he joined RBS, he traded high-grade corporate bonds for 13 years at J.P. Morgan, HSBC, Barclays and Swiss Bank.
"Paul has extensive experience trading banks, brokers and finance companies. His knowledge and leadership will immediately add to our institutional capabilities and growing customer franchise," Lowenthal said in a press release.
Oppenheimer is a Toronto-based provider of investment banking, securities, investment management and wealth management services.
