Moody’s: Ontario Teachers program Aaa

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a provisional Aaa rating to Ontario Teachers' Finance Trust (OTFT)'s new global medium-term note program.

OTFT will use the program to make loans to its parent Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Board (OTPP) and/or entities owned by OTPP’s for general corporate purposes in accordance with Teachers' investment policies.

OTFT was also assigned a stable outlook.

OTFT is a wholly owned subsidiary of OTPP.
