DBRS confirms Ontario Power

DBRS said it confirmed the unsecured debt and commercial paper ratings of Ontario Power Generation Inc. at A (low) and R-1 (low), respectively, with a stable trend.

The confirmations reflect the relatively stable earnings contribution from Ontario Power's regulated electricity generation businesses, a reasonable regulatory environment and good financial flexibility, according to the agency.
