Moody's cuts seven Canadian issuers

Moody's Investors Service said that in conjunction with the downgrade of the Province of Ontario's ratings to Aa2 with a stable outlook from Aa1 with a negative outlook, the agency also revised the ratings for seven linked issuers:

• City of North Bay - debt rating changed to Aa2, stable from Aa1, negative;

• The Hospital for Sick Children - debt rating changed to Aa2, stable from Aa1, negative;

• 55 School Board Trust - debt rating changed to Aa2, stable from Aa1, negative;

• Ontario School Boards Financing Corp. - debt rating changed to Aa3, stable from Aa2, negative;

• Ontario Infrastructure and Lands Corp. - debt rating changed to Aa2, stable from Aa1, negative;

• University of Ottawa - debt rating changed to Aa2, stable from Aa1, negative; and

• University of Toronto - debt and issuer ratings changed to Aa2, stable from Aa1, negative.
