New Issue: Onondaga County, N.Y., sells $51.43 million of general obligation bonds

New York, June 14 - Onondaga County, N.Y., sold $51,425,000 of series 2012 general obligation bonds, according to a pricing sheet.

The bonds (Aa1/AA+/AAA) were sold competitively. The issuer did not return calls for the winning bidder by press time Thursday.

The bonds are due 2014 to 2037 with 3% to 5% coupons.

Proceeds will be used to finance road improvements, bridge reconstructions, county building reconstructions, land purchases, technology acquisitions and other county capital improvements.
