Oneida official equity committee appointed

Pittsburgh, May 18 - Oneida Ltd.'s U.S. Trustee appointed the official committee of equity security holders for the company's Chapter 11 case, according to a Thursday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

The committee is comprised of Daniel J. Arbess of Xerion Partners LLC & Xerion Partners II Master Fund Ltd., New York; Todd Truitt of LKCM Partnership, Fort Worth, Texas; and John S. Orrico of The Arbitrage Fund, New York.

Oneida, an Oneida, N.Y.-based maker of flatware, dinnerware, crystal and metal serving pieces, filed for bankruptcy on April 2. Its Chapter 11 case number is 06-10489.
