Oneida unsecured creditors committee appointed

Pittsburgh, April 10 - Oneida Ltd.'s U.S. Trustee appointed the official committee of unsecured creditors for the company's Chapter 11 case, according to a Friday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

The committee is comprised of Robert L. Lupica of Niagara Ceramics Corp., Buffalo; John Lewis Jr. of The Coca-Cola Co., Atlanta; Keith D. Baumann of Howell Packaging, Elmira, N.Y.; Stephen H. MacIntosh, Cave Creek, Ariz.; and Alan H. Conseur, Winter Park, Fla.

Oneida, an Oneida, N.Y.-based maker of flatware, dinnerware, crystal and metal serving pieces for consumers and the food services industry, filed for bankruptcy on March 19. Its Chapter 11 case number is 06-10489.
