Moody's rates OneBeacon notes Baa2

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a Baa2 rating to $275 million of 10-year senior unsecured notes issued by OneBeacon U.S. Holdings, Inc. off its U.S. shelf registration statement.

The outlook is stable.

The company intends to use the proceeds of the offering to redeem the entirety of OneBeacon's existing $270 million of senior notes maturing in 2013.
