S&P: OMZ unchanged

Standard & Poor's said its ratings and outlook on OAO OMZ (Uralmash-Izhora Group) (CCC+/developing) are unaffected by the early termination of the company's chief executive officer and the termination of the powers of the management board by the company's board of directors.

As yet, the agency said that no details are known of the nature and extent of the plans of the major shareholder and the new CEO.

Current global and Russia national-scale ratings and the developing outlook already reflect operating concerns and uncertainties about the strategic direction at OMZ, the agency added.
