Gamco owns 11.82% of Omnova Solutions

Charlotte, N.C., Nov. 3 - A group of Omnova Solutions Inc. investors led by Gamco Asset Management Inc. acquired 685,739 shares of the company's stock through a series of buy and sell transactions between Sept. 3 and Oct. 31.

According to a schedule 13D/A filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the shares were priced from $0.55 to $2.79 each.

Gamco beneficially owns 5,138,290 shares, or 11.82%, of the company's outstanding stock.

Omnova is a Fairlawn, Ohio, provider of emulsion polymers and specialty chemicals.
